Who is she?
She began her training at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in May 2021, before continuing her studies at Sam Houston State University and later at San Diego State University. In May 2025, she received a BFA in Dance from SDSU, where her practice deepened through both praxis and creative exploration.
During her time in school, she performed works by Francisco Graciano, Lauren Serrano, Erin Ellis, Jessica Humphrey, and Joseph Alter. She further developed her perspective through Dance Italia, working with Nunzia Picciallo, Maya Orchin, and members of KOMOCO Dance, in an environment rooted collaboration and International exchange.
In her final year, she returned to a childhood curiosity and created her first dance film, titled “Maple Ash”. That process marked a turning point, shifting how she approached dance and movement. What began as a single work quickly unfolded into an ongoing investigation that continues to shape how she creates, observes, and connects.
Her work exists at the intersection of contemporary dance, partnering, floorwork and improvisation. Her main focus is on intimacy and connection between both the dancers and the world around them. She is drawn to combining the natural elements with dance to create works that are both deeply tender and viscerally athletic.
